2. Save Money by commuting to work by bike

Depending on where you work, changing your commuting option from driving in to catching public transport, or commuting by bike or walking could save you lots of money. It also allows you to keep healthy and to live better.

Assess how far your workplace is from home. If it is a feasible distance for commuting by bike, do a trial run, preferably on a weekend to assess which route is the best for a bike.

Go to your local bike shop to see whether they have bike network maps. Start out commuting to work by bike once or twice a week. If this looks like a goer, you could totally discard the bike and commute every day.

Think about all that fuel money you will be saving and the big benefits of not being caught in traffic jams at peak hour.
